Ireland’s only sneaker event returns to Dublin once again!
Coffee and Kicks has been going on for over a year now, having celebrated its first birthday back in April and once again aims to bring the community together through the street culture of sneakers and fashion.
Organized by Dublin Dj Ghostboy, AKA Phil Boyle and the young prospect James Fagan, the two created the event together to bring people, young and old, out of their homes and away from social media, to meet other like-minded people at the event.
The event is free of charge and you can come and go as you please. It acts as a meet and greet for the sneaker community across Ireland, as well as anyone looking to get into the culture.
Phil and James encourage you to bring some of your collection with you, be they your latest picks up ( LPU ) or limited/grail pairs that you want to show people who may have never seen them in hand before.
Since the beginning the event has grown over Instagram and Facebook, making the group known throughout Ireland. Working with the likes of Brown Thomas and Puma recently has shown they are aiming for a bigger and better platform, moving forward and growing the event with hopes that it will reach the heights of well knowns across the pond in the U.K, such as Crepecity, Europe’s largest event; Sneakerness and Americas world renowned Sneakercon.
With the community growing steadily in Ireland, the movement is rapid. Coffee and Kicks has a solid platform to work from with the support of the people, with Phil and James continually working hard in the right direction, we can be sure to see more great things coming from Coffee and Kicks.
